The ninth edition of Nigeria hair show grand finale was held
on the 1st of December2013 at the Duban international hotels Ogba Lagos, it was a double event as the maiden edition of
Africa hair and make over awards was held along side with the hair show, seven
hair stylists from different zones of the country were there for the keenly
contested crown, the stylist did different hair styles which ranged from wig style,
evening style and natural hair.
Among the salons that participated include oshbico salon,
yintob salon, princess gold beauty palour,nafowa Salon, Togo naija salon, the best salon, and
the funky salon,Mrs adeniyi olufunke of
funky salon in Lagos came first as the winner of the competition, she went away with a generating
set and products, the second was oshbico salon with a prize of standing fan and
products, while the third also was nafowa salon her prize was hair drier,
straightner and products ,
The products used for the competition were classic and gold
products, , all from the house of Rebecca Fashion ltd makers of noble products,
Hawaiian silk herbal used the medium to introduce its hair care range
The organizers of the event multi devices communications ltd,
were able to recognize various brands and personalities, that has contributed
to the growth of hair and makeover and fashion in Nigeria and across Africa, all
fashion and style writers that has contributed to the growth of fashion in the country
and beyond were recorgnised. among the corporate bodies were :Noble hair,X-pression
Zaron cosmetics ,ladystar,chocolate,tosab costumery,universal hair care, zukky
afro,wemy Industries ,African hair and beauty magazine,etc.
The project director of the event Mr chukwumah Emmanuel used
the medium to speak on the tenth edition of Nigeria hair show and the hosting
of AHMA AWARDS in different parts of Africa to promote the hair and makeover
industry.
